λA,\lambda_A,

Can we generate?\text{Can we generate?}

What should we select, verify, integrate, preserve, or enact?\text{What should we select, verify, integrate, preserve, or enact?}

RT\mathcal R_T

Scarcity Migration of Meaning\boxed{ \textbf{Scarcity Migration of Meaning} }

MeaningAttention\text{Meaning} \rightarrow \text{Attention}

StD=(SG,SA,SJ,SV,SI,SP,SC,SR)t,\mathbf S_t^{\mathcal D} = ( S_G, S_A, S_J, S_V, S_I, S_P, S_C, S_R )_t,

其中:

  • SGS_G:generation scarcity;
  • SAS_A:attention scarcity;
  • SJS_J:judgment scarcity;
  • SVS_V:verification scarcity;
  • SIS_I:integration scarcity;
  • SPS_P:provenance / trust scarcity;
  • SCS_C:commitment scarcity;
  • SRS_R:responsibility scarcity。

SG(t1)>SA(t1),SJ(t1),S_G(t_1) > S_A(t_1),S_J(t_1),\ldots

SG(t2)SA(t2),SJ(t2),SV(t2),,S_G(t_2) \ll S_A(t_2),S_J(t_2),S_V(t_2),\ldots,

Dominant Scarcity Index

DSIi(t)=Si(t)jSj(t),\operatorname{DSI}_i(t) = \frac{ S_i(t) }{ \sum_j S_j(t) },

以及 Scarcity Migration Matrix

Mij=Δ[DSIjDSIi],M_{ij} = \Delta \left[ \operatorname{DSI}_j - \operatorname{DSI}_i \right],

not enough candidate artifacts.\text{not enough candidate artifacts}.

too many candidates, too little reliable discrimination.\text{too many candidates, too little reliable discrimination}.

many acceptable futures, but only a finite number can be enacted under irreversible constraints.\text{many acceptable futures, but only a finite number can be enacted under irreversible constraints}.

Cgenerate,Csolve,CverifyC_{\mathrm{generate}}, C_{\mathrm{solve}}, C_{\mathrm{verify}}

Who chooses?\text{Who chooses?} Which value function is legitimate?\text{Which value function is legitimate?} Who bears the consequences?\text{Who bears the consequences?}

The location of meaningful human contribution can change even when total capability increases.\boxed{ \text{The location of meaningful human contribution can change even when total capability increases.} }

Rcap,R_{\mathrm{cap}} \downarrow,

Dperson,D_{\mathrm{person}} \downarrow,

Mlife.M_{\mathrm{life}} \downarrow.

Capability Scarcity RentSubject Worth.\boxed{ \textbf{Capability Scarcity Rent} \neq \textbf{Subject Worth}. }

economic value,functional value,epistemic value,relational value,moral value,existential meaning.\text{economic value}, \text{functional value}, \text{epistemic value}, \text{relational value}, \text{moral value}, \text{existential meaning}.

Scarcity-Ladder Hypothesis

GenerateRecognizeVerifySelectIntegrateCommitBear Consequence.\boxed{ \text{Generate} \rightarrow \text{Recognize} \rightarrow \text{Verify} \rightarrow \text{Select} \rightarrow \text{Integrate} \rightarrow \text{Commit} \rightarrow \text{Bear Consequence}. }

When capability becomes abundant, which kinds of scarcity continue to organize meaning, agency, responsibility, and civilizational choice?\boxed{ \textbf{When capability becomes abundant, which kinds of scarcity continue to organize meaning, agency, responsibility, and civilizational choice?} }

Scarcity Migration of Meaning、post-generative condition、meaningful work、attention scarcity、judgment scarcity、verification scarcity、commitment、responsibility、human agency、capability scarcity rent、AI creativity、human–AI collaboration、meaning after automation

CGC_G \downarrow

NG.N_G \uparrow.

Abundance at one layer can expose scarcity at another layer.\boxed{ \text{Abundance at one layer can expose scarcity at another layer.} }

S=scarcity.S=\text{scarcity}.

StD=(SG,SA,SJ,SV,SI,SP,SC,SR)t.\boxed{ \mathbf S_t^{\mathcal D} = ( S_G,S_A,S_J,S_V,S_I,S_P,S_C,S_R )_t. }

6. SGS_G:Generation Scarcity

7. SAS_A:Attention Scarcity

8. SJS_J:Judgment Scarcity

9. SVS_V:Verification Scarcity

10. SIS_I:Integration Scarcity

11. SPS_P:Provenance / Trust Scarcity

12. SCS_C:Commitment Scarcity

13. SRS_R:Responsibility Scarcity

Rankt(SG,SA,,SR)\operatorname{Rank}_t ( S_G,S_A,\ldots,S_R )

SiS_i

Sj,S_j,

即:

Rankt1(Si)<Rankt1(Sj)\operatorname{Rank}_{t_1}(S_i) < \operatorname{Rank}_{t_1}(S_j)

但:

Rankt2(Si)>Rankt2(Sj),\operatorname{Rank}_{t_2}(S_i) > \operatorname{Rank}_{t_2}(S_j),

iji\rightarrow j

Si+Sj=constant.S_i+S_j=\text{constant}.

  • generation;
  • verification;
  • filtering;
  • integration。

SA,SJ,SVS_A,S_J,S_V

SiabsS_i^{\mathrm{abs}}

與:

Sirel.S_i^{\mathrm{rel}}.

21. Dominant Scarcity Index

DSIi(t)=Si(t)jSj(t).\boxed{ \operatorname{DSI}_i(t) = \frac{ S_i(t) }{ \sum_j S_j(t) }. }

Si(t2)=0.5Si(t1).S_i(t_2)=0.5S_i(t_1).

則:

DSIi\operatorname{DSI}_i

DSIV.\operatorname{DSI}_V \uparrow.

verification becomes relatively dominant.\boxed{ \text{verification becomes relatively dominant}. }

25. Scarcity Migration Matrix

定義:

Mij=Δ[DSIjDSIi].\boxed{ M_{ij} = \Delta [ \operatorname{DSI}_j - \operatorname{DSI}_i ]. }

若:

Mij>0,M_{ij}>0,

28. Type I:Supply Scarcity

Not enough candidates exist at acceptable cost.\boxed{ \text{Not enough candidates exist at acceptable cost.} }

29. Type II:Discrimination Scarcity

Many candidates exist, but reliable differentiation is limited.\boxed{ \text{Many candidates exist, but reliable differentiation is limited.} }

30. Type III:Commitment Scarcity

Many acceptable futures exist, but only a finite subset can be enacted.\boxed{ \text{Many acceptable futures exist, but only a finite subset can be enacted.} }

  • ranking;
  • verification;
  • summarization;
  • integration。

W1,,WnW_1,\ldots,W_n

W1,,Wn.W_1,\ldots,W_n.

WtWt+1W_t\rightarrow W_{t+1}

Generate(W)Commit(W).\boxed{ \operatorname{Generate}(W) \neq \operatorname{Commit}(W). }

38. Commitment 帶 irreversible exposure

  • opportunity cost;
  • path dependence;
  • social consequences;
  • responsibility。

CgenerateCcivilizational choice.\boxed{ C_{\mathrm{generate}} \neq C_{\mathrm{civilizational\ choice}}. }

42. Attention

Herbert Simon

NinfoSArelN_{\mathrm{info}}\uparrow \Rightarrow S_A^{\mathrm{rel}}\uparrow

CA.C_A\downarrow.

45. Select-the-selector problem

Who selects the selector?\boxed{ \text{Who selects the selector?} }

46. 第一階 selector

E1:Xranked candidates.E_1: \mathcal X \rightarrow \text{ranked candidates}.

47. 第二階

E2:{E1}selector choice.E_2: \{E_1\} \rightarrow \text{selector choice}.

49. Judgment scarcity

Attention

Judgment

51. 所以:

Attention EfficiencyJudgment Accuracy.\boxed{ \text{Attention Efficiency} \neq \text{Judgment Accuracy}. }

52. Verification scarcity

104.10^4.

53. Verification backlog

BV(t)=Ncandidate(t)Nverified(t).B_V(t) = N_{\mathrm{candidate}}(t) - N_{\mathrm{verified}}(t).

54. 若:

λG>λV,\lambda_G>\lambda_V,

則:

BV.B_V\uparrow.

56. Integration scarcity

60. 所以:

VerificationIntegration.\boxed{ \text{Verification} \neq \text{Integration}. }

61. Provenance scarcity

  • who made it;
  • how;
  • under whose control;
  • who takes responsibility。

63. 2025--2026 authorship research

65. Authorship

在 AI-assisted work 中:

authorship\text{authorship}

  • selection;
  • arrangement;
  • transformation;
  • control;
  • responsibility。

66. 所以:

Output ProductionAuthorship.\boxed{ \text{Output Production} \neq \text{Authorship}. }

67. Human–AI agency

direct executor\text{direct executor}

移向:

delegator / coordinator / evaluator.\text{delegator / coordinator / evaluator}.

69. Meaningful-work 五維

  • task integrity;
  • skill cultivation;
  • task significance;
  • autonomy;
  • belongingness;

meaning\text{meaning}

output quantity.\text{output quantity}.

73. 所以:

ΔCapability⇏ΔMeaning has fixed sign.\boxed{ \Delta \text{Capability} \not\Rightarrow \Delta \text{Meaning} \text{ has fixed sign}. }

74. Collaboration mode

  • replacement;
  • tool;
  • collaborator;
  • delegate;
  • supervisor;

75. 2026 experimental work 的啟發

依賴 AI 可能降低 self-efficacy、ownership、meaning;

Agency architecture matters.\boxed{ \text{Agency architecture matters.} }

⇏meaningful.\not\Rightarrow \text{meaningful}.

⇏meaningless.\not\Rightarrow \text{meaningless}.

78. Skill scarcity rent

Rcap.R_{\mathrm{cap}}.

79. Capability Scarcity Rent

Rcap=VmarketVmarketabundant capability\boxed{ R_{\mathrm{cap}} = V_{\mathrm{market}} - V_{\mathrm{market}}^{\mathrm{abundant\ capability}} }

Rcap.R_{\mathrm{cap}}\downarrow.

82. Subject worth 不同

令:

DsubjectD_{\mathrm{subject}}

RcapDsubject.\boxed{ R_{\mathrm{cap}} \neq D_{\mathrm{subject}}. }

84. 更一般

Capability Scarcity RentSubject Worth.\boxed{ \text{Capability Scarcity Rent} \neq \text{Subject Worth}. }

Vsubject=(VE,VF,VK,VR,VM,VX),\mathbf V_{\mathrm{subject}} = ( V_E, V_F, V_K, V_R, V_M, V_X ),

其中:

  • VEV_E:economic;
  • VFV_F:functional;
  • VKV_K:epistemic;
  • VRV_R:relational;
  • VMV_M:moral;
  • VXV_X:existential。

88. AI automation

VE,VF.V_E,V_F.

VM,VXV_M,V_X

下降。

Value-Type Safety Principle

ΔVE<0⇏ΔVM<0.\boxed{ \Delta V_E<0 \not\Rightarrow \Delta V_M<0. }

91. 同理

ΔVF<0⇏ΔVX<0.\Delta V_F<0 \not\Rightarrow \Delta V_X<0.

94. 這是 scarcity-based meaning

MS.M_S.

MR=relational meaning,M_R = \text{relational meaning}, MC=commitment meaning,M_C = \text{commitment meaning}, MP=participatory meaning.M_P = \text{participatory meaning}.

MMS.\boxed{ M \neq M_S. }

97. 也就是

Meaning is not exhausted by irreplaceability.\boxed{ \text{Meaning is not exhausted by irreplaceability.} }

98. Scarcity Migration of Meaning

meaning transition\text{meaning transition}

與:

distributional justice.\text{distributional justice}.

  • task integrity;
  • autonomy;
  • belongingness;

  • autonomy;
  • competence;
  • prosocial impact;

Which tasks are automated, and which human meaning channels remain or expand?\boxed{ \text{Which tasks are automated, and which human meaning channels remain or expand?} }

109. Meaning-Preserving Automation

Meaning-Preserving Automation\boxed{ \textbf{Meaning-Preserving Automation} }

  • autonomy;
  • ownership;
  • skill development;
  • belongingness;
  • responsibility。

Meaning-Enhancing Automation:

ΔM>0.\Delta M>0.

112. Agency loop

114. Agency scarcity

Sagency.S_{\mathrm{agency}}.

SJ,SC,SR.S_J,S_C,S_R.

116. Choice abundance paradox

NC,N_C\uparrow,

Cchoice.C_{\mathrm{choice}}\downarrow.

122. Value-function scarcity

124. Scarcity Ladder Hypothesis

GenerateRecognizeVerifySelectIntegrateCommitBear Consequence.\boxed{ \text{Generate} \rightarrow \text{Recognize} \rightarrow \text{Verify} \rightarrow \text{Select} \rightarrow \text{Integrate} \rightarrow \text{Commit} \rightarrow \text{Bear Consequence}. }

attention+judgment+provenance.\text{attention} + \text{judgment} + \text{provenance}.

128. 數學

可能:

verification+integration.\text{verification} + \text{integration}.

129. 軟體

可能:

validation+maintenance+responsibility.\text{validation} + \text{maintenance} + \text{responsibility}.

value selection+commitment+responsibility.\text{value selection} + \text{commitment} + \text{responsibility}.

Dt=(dart,dscience,dcode,dpolicy,).\mathbf D_t = ( d_{\mathrm{art}}, d_{\mathrm{science}}, d_{\mathrm{code}}, d_{\mathrm{policy}}, \ldots ).

135. Post-Generative Index

PG(D,t)=λGλG+λA+λJ+λI.P_G(\mathcal D,t) = \frac{ \lambda_G }{ \lambda_G+\lambda_A+\lambda_J+\lambda_I }.

138. 如果 generation 很大但 audit/judgment 小

代表 post-generative backlog regime。

λGλVλI.\lambda_G\approx\lambda_V\approx\lambda_I.

141. Verification

SV.S_V\downarrow.

Vformal,Vsemantic,Vempirical.V_{\mathrm{formal}}, V_{\mathrm{semantic}}, V_{\mathrm{empirical}}.

145. Scarcity fractal

147. Provenance scarcity

148. artifact equality

x1=x2x_1=x_2

不代表 event identity:

e1=e2.e_1=e_2.

149. 因此:

Artifact IdentityProvenance Identity.\boxed{ \text{Artifact Identity} \neq \text{Provenance Identity}. }

152. Commitment scarcity

future action+risk+commitment+relationship.\text{future action} + \text{risk} + \text{commitment} + \text{relationship}.

155. 所以:

Statement GenerationCommitment Formation.\boxed{ \text{Statement Generation} \neq \text{Commitment Formation}. }

157. Responsibility scarcity

162. AI-mediated decision

164. Scarcity Migration 與 CI

CI 提高:

λG.\lambda_G.

Guard / Verify / Glue

SV,SIS_V,S_I

GuardVerifyGlueAudit.\mathsf{Guard} \rightarrow \mathsf{Verify} \rightarrow \mathsf{GlueAudit}.

SGmove resources to SV,SI.S_G\downarrow \Rightarrow \text{move resources to }S_V,S_I.

169. Scarcity Migration 與 GCS

GCS 降低:

Creach.C_{\mathrm{reach}}.

173. Scarcity Migration 與 LSI

LSI 降低:

Cdistinguish repetition.C_{\mathrm{distinguish\ repetition}}.

what happens after generation, reachability, and novelty are no longer sufficient discriminators.\boxed{ \text{what happens after generation, reachability, and novelty are no longer sufficient discriminators}. }

CI: candidate supplyGCS: reachable worldsLSI: effective distinctionsPGMV: value-bearing choice\boxed{ \begin{aligned} \mathrm{CI}&:\ \text{candidate supply}\\ \mathrm{GCS}&:\ \text{reachable worlds}\\ \mathrm{LSI}&:\ \text{effective distinctions}\\ \mathrm{PGMV}&:\ \text{value-bearing choice} \end{aligned} }

H:inputoutput,H: \text{input} \rightarrow \text{output},

UH.U_H\downarrow.

184. Utility Collapse 不等於 Worth Collapse

Utask⇏Wsubject.\boxed{ U_{\mathrm{task}}\downarrow \not\Rightarrow W_{\mathrm{subject}}\downarrow. }

M=f(irreplaceability),M=f(\text{irreplaceability}),

  • lived relation;
  • commitment;
  • participation;
  • self-authorship;
  • dignity。

Generation–Audit Bottleneck Shift

  • backlog;
  • useful yield;
  • false acceptance;
  • decision time。

UλG.\frac{\partial U}{\partial \lambda_G} \downarrow.

Automation Location

A:自動化 repetitive peripheral tasks。

B:自動化 core identity-bearing tasks。

193. 測:

  • output;
  • autonomy;
  • self-efficacy;
  • ownership;
  • meaningfulness。

Human Control Gradient

設定 human intellectual control:

c[0,1].c\in[0,1].

比較:

  • authorship perception;
  • responsibility;
  • authenticity;
  • ownership。

Selector Delegation

讓:

  • human select;
  • AI select;
  • human choose among AI shortlist。

比較:

  • satisfaction;
  • regret;
  • trust;
  • sense of agency。

Provenance Blind / Revealed

同一 artifact,

不同 provenance disclosure。

測:

VR,VM,VA.V_R,V_M,V_A.

Commitment vs Generation

  • textual quality;
  • actual behavioral follow-through。

Domain Scarcity Mapping

對:

  • fiction;
  • theorem generation;
  • coding;
  • policy;

估:

StD.\mathbf S_t^{\mathcal D}.

DSIG\operatorname{DSI}_G

202. H2

在同一 domain:

DSIV\operatorname{DSI}_V

或:

DSIJ\operatorname{DSI}_J

  1. 稀缺性像能量一樣守恆;
  2. generation scarcity 下降必然使 attention scarcity 絕對上升;
  3. 所有 domain 都會走同一 scarcity ladder;
  4. 2026 已進入完整後生成文明;
  5. AGI / ASI 必然出現;
  6. AI 一定讓工作失去意義;
  7. AI 一定讓工作更有意義;
  8. meaningful work 可被單一指標完整測量;
  9. task integrity、autonomy 等五維是意義的唯一構成;
  10. 人類價值完全不受經濟角色變化影響;
  11. 失業與去技能化不是實質 harm;
  12. 哲學上的 dignity 可取代經濟補償;
  13. UBI 或任何單一政策可自動解決 meaning crisis;
  14. attention 是未來唯一稀缺資源;
  15. verification 是科學永遠的終極瓶頸;
  16. AI 永遠不能參與 judgment;
  17. AI 永遠不能參與 commitment;
  18. human authorship 必須永久是唯一合法作者性;
  19. AI-generated artifact 沒有 relational value;
  20. provenance 永遠比內容重要;
  21. human agency 越多越好而無成本;
  22. delegation 本身等於失去 agency;
  23. 所有工作都需要保留原始技能才能有意義;
  24. capability scarcity rent 等於薪資;
  25. subject worth 可以被本文公式量化;
  26. human moral worth 依賴市場不可替代性;
  27. 市場價格下降代表 dignity 下降;
  28. GCS 成功後 value problem 必然可解;
  29. LSI quotient 可以代替 normative choice;
  30. CI 能生成的所有候選都值得評估;
  31. 意義稀缺性遷移已是普遍歷史定律;

Absolute–Relative Scarcity Separation

Siabs⇏DSIi.\boxed{ S_i^{\mathrm{abs}}\downarrow \not\Rightarrow \operatorname{DSI}_i\downarrow. }

Abundance Exposure

SG can expose SJ,SV,SI.\boxed{ S_G\downarrow \text{ can expose } S_J,S_V,S_I. }

Generation–Commitment Separation

Generate(W)⇏Commit(W).\boxed{ \operatorname{Generate}(W) \not\Rightarrow \operatorname{Commit}(W). }

Capability–Meaning Non-Monotonicity

Ccapability⇏M\boxed{ C_{\mathrm{capability}}\uparrow \not\Rightarrow M\uparrow }

且:

Ccapability⇏M.\boxed{ C_{\mathrm{capability}}\uparrow \not\Rightarrow M\downarrow. }

Capability Scarcity Rent–Worth Separation

RcapWsubject.\boxed{ R_{\mathrm{cap}} \neq W_{\mathrm{subject}}. }

Economic–Moral Value Separation

ΔVE<0⇏ΔVM<0.\boxed{ \Delta V_E<0 \not\Rightarrow \Delta V_M<0. }

Functional–Existential Value Separation

ΔVF<0⇏ΔVX<0.\boxed{ \Delta V_F<0 \not\Rightarrow \Delta V_X<0. }

Attention–Judgment Separation

CA⇏EJ.\boxed{ C_A\downarrow \not\Rightarrow E_J\uparrow. }

Verification–Integration Separation

Verified(x)⇏Integrated(x).\boxed{ \operatorname{Verified}(x) \not\Rightarrow \operatorname{Integrated}(x). }

Meaning-Channel Plurality

MMscarcity of skill\boxed{ M \neq M_{\mathrm{scarcity\ of\ skill}} }

PGMV-01:

λGλA\lambda_G\gg\lambda_A

xTx\neq T

which reachable world should be selected?\text{which reachable world should be selected?}

Scarcity of legitimate value-bearing choice.\boxed{ \text{Scarcity of legitimate value-bearing choice}. }

PGMV-01:

Generation can cease to be the primary scarcity.\boxed{ \text{Generation can cease to be the primary scarcity.} }

PGMV-02:

Non-target generation can contain alternate value.\boxed{ \text{Non-target generation can contain alternate value.} }

PGMV-03:

Therefore the dominant bottleneck can migrate from production toward discrimination, integration, commitment, and responsibility.\boxed{ \text{Therefore the dominant bottleneck can migrate from production toward discrimination, integration, commitment, and responsibility.} }

能力之後的意義:當不可替代性不再成立\boxed{ \text{能力之後的意義:當不可替代性不再成立} }

scarcity reordering.\boxed{ \text{scarcity reordering}. }

scarcity moving upward from production into discrimination and commitment.\boxed{ \text{scarcity moving upward from production into discrimination and commitment}. }

agency architecture.\boxed{ \text{agency architecture}. }

Cgeneration0C_{\mathrm{generation}}\rightarrow0

capability scarcity rents.\text{capability scarcity rents}.

但:

Capability Scarcity RentSubject Worth.\boxed{ \text{Capability Scarcity Rent} \neq \text{Subject Worth}. }

When productive capability becomes abundant, the civilizational bottleneck need not disappear; it can migrate toward the capacities to discriminate, integrate, choose, commit, and bear consequences.\boxed{ \textbf{When productive capability becomes abundant, the civilizational bottleneck need not disappear; it can migrate toward the capacities to discriminate, integrate, choose, commit, and bear consequences.} }

The post-generative problem is not how to preserve scarcity for its own sake, but how to build forms of meaning that do not depend on scarcity of capability.\boxed{ \textbf{The post-generative problem is not how to preserve scarcity for its own sake, but how to build forms of meaning that do not depend on scarcity of capability.} }

AI 真正改變的未必是「世界從有稀缺變成沒有稀缺」,而是「原本稀缺的是產生答案,後來稀缺的可能變成判斷哪個答案值得相信、值得選、值得承擔」。\boxed{ \text{AI 真正改變的未必是「世界從有稀缺變成沒有稀缺」,而是「原本稀缺的是產生答案,後來稀缺的可能變成判斷哪個答案值得相信、值得選、值得承擔」。} }
