摘要
本文研究 HEETF 系列的第二個地基命題:
這一命題並不新鮮。phenomenology、lifeworld、embodied cognition、situated cognition、predictive processing、Umwelt、intersubjectivity 與 cultural affordance 等研究傳統早已從不同方向拒絕「主體只是透明接收外部世界」這種過度簡化。Nagel 的「What Is It Like to Be a Bat?」亦長期被用來指出第一人稱體驗與第三人稱描述的差異;Clark 的 predictive-brain / situated-agent 框架、Gallese 與 Lakoff 的 sensory-motor conceptual account、Fuchs 與 Koch 的 embodied affectivity、Ramstead 等人的 cultural affordances,以及 Gillespie 與 Cornish 對 intersubjectivity 的分析,也都提供了「主體狀態、身體、社會與文化結構共同參與世界呈現方式」的不同外部基線。
本文不宣稱首次提出「主觀世界」或「體驗世界」概念,而提出一個供 HEETF 系列使用的最小形式化:

中的 lived states 對公共 observer 都 observationally equivalent。故公共科學可以非常成功地建立 intersubjective regularities,而仍保留第一人稱狀態不可完全由 report equality 證明同一的邊界。
本文進一步區分三種「相同」:
- World Identity:遭遇同一 external event;
- Functional / Report Identity:產生相同 output / behavior;
- Experiential Identity:具有相同 lived state。
只有第三者才是最強主張,而前兩者一般不足以推出第三者。
本文同時加入一個重要防過度延伸邊界。對人類,我們可以討論 lived / phenomenal experience;對 AI 或其他未知系統,本文不因其具有複雜內部狀態、self-model 或 report behavior 就自動宣稱其具有 phenomenal consciousness。對這些系統,至少可以先定義 operational subject domain:
表示其 input-access、state、memory、attention / routing、objective structure,而把「是否有第一人稱體驗」留作獨立命題。
所以本篇真正要建立的是:
我們之所以常感覺彼此「很像」,不必是因為:
更可能是因為我們在某些局部域上具有:
因此本文最終把「存在與存在幾乎都是異質的」收斂成較嚴格的版本:
異質性不表示完全不可通約;共同世界也不表示完全同一。存在之間可以在局部結構上高度可翻譯,同時保留不可由公共報告直接消除的體驗差異。
