$$
\boxed{
\text{Same World}
\not\Rightarrow
\text{Same Lived World}.
}
$$

Nagel 的「What Is It Like to Be a Bat?」

$$
\boxed{
\mathcal W.
}
$$

$$
\boxed{
\mathfrak S_i
=
(
A_i,
K_i,
B_i,
M_i,
\Lambda_i
),
}
$$

其中：

- $A_i$：access / sensory / interface map；
- $B_i$：embodiment / carrier state；
- $M_i$：memory / history state；
- $\Lambda_i$：attention / valuation / relevance structure。

$$
w\in\mathcal W,
$$

$$
\boxed{
x_i
=
\Phi_i(
d_i;
K_i,B_i,M_i,\Lambda_i
).
}
$$

$$
\boxed{
\mathcal E_i
=
\operatorname{Im}
(
\Phi_i\circ A_i
).
}
$$

$$
\mathcal E_i
\cap
\mathcal E_j
=
\varnothing.
$$

$$
\boxed{
\mathcal E_i
\leftrightarrow
\mathcal E_j
}
$$

# **Heterogeneity-with-Overlap Principle**

$$
\boxed{
\mathcal E_i
\neq
\mathcal E_j
}
$$

$$
\boxed{
\mathcal E_i
\cap
\mathcal E_j
\neq
\varnothing
}
$$

$$
(\Phi_i\circ A_i)(w)
\neq
(\Phi_j\circ A_j)(w),
$$

$$
R_i:
\mathcal E_i
\rightarrow
\mathcal O.
$$

$$
x_i=x_j.
$$

$$
U_i\subseteq\mathcal E_i,
\qquad
U_j\subseteq\mathcal E_j
$$

以及 translation：

$$
\tau_{ij}:
U_i
\rightarrow
U_j
$$

$$
q_j\circ\tau_{ij}
=
q_i,
$$

$$
U_i=U_j.
$$

所以：

$$
\boxed{
\text{communication does not require experiential identity;}
}
$$

第四，**Observer-Equivalence Does Not Imply Subject-Equivalence**：如果公共 observer 只能看到：

$$
R_i(x_i),
$$

1. **World Identity**：遭遇同一 external event；
2. **Functional / Report Identity**：產生相同 output / behavior；
3. **Experiential Identity**：具有相同 lived state。

$$
\mathfrak S_i^{\mathrm{op}}
$$

$$
\boxed{
\text{Existence}
\rightarrow
\text{Access}
\rightarrow
\text{Internal State}
\rightarrow
\text{Lived / Operational Mapping}
\rightarrow
\text{Public Translation}.
}
$$

$$
\boxed{
\mathcal E_i=\mathcal E_j.
}
$$

$$
\boxed{
\text{stable overlap}
+
\text{translation}
+
\text{shared observable structure}.
}
$$

Subject Domain, Experiential Domain, Lifeworld, Intersubjectivity, Embodiment, Predictive Processing, Cultural Affordances, Heterogeneity, Translation, First-Person Experience

---

$$
\boxed{
\text{同一 external referent}.
}
$$

$$
\boxed{
\text{同一 lived world}.
}
$$

---

# 2. Shared World

令：

$$
\boxed{
\mathcal W
}
$$

為 study-relative external event / state space。

$$
\mathcal W
$$

---

# 3. Subject Domain

$$
\boxed{
\mathfrak S_i
=
(
A_i,K_i,B_i,M_i,\Lambda_i
).
}
$$

---

# 4. Access Map

$$
\boxed{
A_i:
\mathcal W
\rightarrow
D_i.
}
$$

- sensory limits；
- language access；
- attention gate；
- instrumentation；
- social access。

$$
A_i(w)\neq A_j(w).
$$

---

# 5. Knowledge / Predictive State

$$
\boxed{
K_i.
}
$$

predictive-processing literature 長期把 perception 與 top-down prediction、prediction error、situated action 放在同一框架分析。

$$
\boxed{
\text{perception is state-dependent, not raw copying}.
}
$$

---

# 6. Embodiment

$$
\boxed{
B_i
}
$$

表示 carrier / body state。

包括：

- sensory apparatus；
- motor capacities；
- physiology；
- affective state；
- computational substrate。

---

# 7. Memory / History

$$
\boxed{
M_i
}
$$

---

# 8. Attention / Valuation / Relevance

$$
\boxed{
\Lambda_i
}
$$

cultural-affordance literature 也指出 shared intentionality 與 regimes of attention 可以參與 local worlds 的形成。

---

# 9. Experiential Mapping

對：

$$
w\in\mathcal W,
$$

先：

$$
d_i=A_i(w).
$$

再：

$$
\boxed{
x_i
=
\Phi_i(
d_i;
K_i,B_i,M_i,\Lambda_i
).
}
$$

$$
\Phi_i
$$

---

# 10. Experiential Domain

定義：

$$
\boxed{
\mathcal E_i
=
\operatorname{Im}(
\Phi_i\circ A_i
).
}
$$

---

# 11. Shared-World Non-Identity Proposition

$$
w\in\mathcal W
$$

使：

$$
(\Phi_i\circ A_i)(w)
\neq
(\Phi_j\circ A_j)(w),
$$

則 shared external event 不推出 shared lived state。

$$
w
$$

形成：

$$
x_i
=
(\Phi_i\circ A_i)(w),
$$

$$
x_j
=
(\Phi_j\circ A_j)(w).
$$

$$
x_i\neq x_j.
$$

故：

$$
\boxed{
w_i=w_j
}
$$

$$
\boxed{
x_i=x_j.
}
$$

$$
\boxed{\square}
$$

---

lived event：

$$
\boxed{
\Phi_i(T)
\neq
\Phi_j(T).
}
$$

---

$$
A.
$$

對 $i$：

$$
\boxed{
\text{same technology}
\neq
\text{same experiential event}.
}
$$

# Subject Domain

或：

# Experiential Domain

---

# 16. Umwelt

$$
\boxed{
\text{HEETF experiential domain}
}
$$

---

# 17. Public Observable Domain

令：

$$
\boxed{
\mathcal O
}
$$

- speech；
- rating；
- button press；
- behavior；
- physiological measure；
- formal answer。

定義：

$$
\boxed{
R_i:
\mathcal E_i
\rightarrow
\mathcal O.
}
$$

---

# 18. Shared Report

若：

$$
R_i(x_i)
=
R_j(x_j),
$$

$$
\boxed{
\text{report agreement}.
}
$$

$$
\boxed{
\text{experiential identity}.
}
$$

---

# 19. Shared-Report Non-Identity Proposition

若：

$$
R_i
$$

$$
x\neq y
$$

使：

$$
R_i(x)=R_i(y).
$$

因此：

$$
R_i(x)=R_i(y)
$$

$$
x=y.
$$

$$
\boxed{\square}
$$

---

$$
R_i(x_i)=R_j(x_j)=7.
$$

但：

$$
\boxed{
x_i=x_j
}
$$

- reports；
- behavior；
- physiology；
- neural activity；
- intervention effect。

$$
\boxed{
\text{observable agreement}
}
$$

和：

$$
\boxed{
\text{complete first-person identity}
}
$$

是不同 claim。

---

# 23. Observer Equivalence

定義：

$$
x\sim_R y
$$

若：

$$
R(x)=R(y).
$$

則：

$$
\sim_R
$$

$$
\boxed{
\mathcal E/{\sim_R}.
}
$$

---

# 24. Observer-Equivalence Does Not Imply Subject-Equivalence

如果：

$$
[x]_R=[y]_R,
$$

$$
x=y.
$$

這是 subject / observer distinction。

---

$$
\boxed{
\text{identity}
}
$$

$$
\boxed{
\text{sufficient translation}.
}
$$

---

# 26. Local Translation

令：

$$
U_i\subseteq\mathcal E_i,
$$

$$
U_j\subseteq\mathcal E_j.
$$

$$
\boxed{
\tau_{ij}:
U_i
\rightarrow
U_j
}
$$

---

# 27. Shared Observable Preservation

令：

$$
q_i:
U_i\rightarrow Z,
$$

$$
q_j:
U_j\rightarrow Z.
$$

若：

$$
\boxed{
q_j\circ\tau_{ij}
=
q_i,
}
$$

則 translation 保留 observable $q$。

---

# 28. Local Translation Proposition

$$
\tau_{ij}
$$

$$
q_j\circ\tau_{ij}=q_i,
$$

$$
U_i=U_j.
$$

$$
x\in U_i,
$$

有：

$$
q_j(\tau_{ij}(x))
=
q_i(x).
$$

$$
\boxed{\square}
$$

---

# 29. Communication as Translation

因此：

$$
\boxed{
\text{communication}
}
$$

更像：

$$
\boxed{
\text{cross-domain structure preservation}
}
$$

$$
\boxed{
\text{mind-state copying}.
}
$$

---

Translation Infrastructure

$$
o\in\mathcal O.
$$

- beauty；
- achievement；
- truth；
- competition；
- solitude；
- exploration。

$$
\boxed{
\text{lossy translation}
}
$$

---

# 32. Intersubjectivity

---

# 33. Shared Intentionality / Cultural Affordances

- theorem；
- profession；
- status。

$$
\boxed{
\text{local lived worlds can be socially scaffolded}.
}
$$

---

$$
\mathcal E_i\neq\mathcal E_j,
$$

$$
\boxed{
\text{share institutions, meanings, observables, and practices}.
}
$$

---

# 35. Heterogeneity-with-Overlap Principle

$$
\boxed{
\mathcal E_i\cap\mathcal E_j=\varnothing.
}
$$

而是：

$$
\boxed{
\mathcal E_i\neq\mathcal E_j
}
$$

與：

$$
\boxed{
\text{substantial overlap / translation}
}
$$

$$
D_{ij}^{(q)}
$$

- color；
- pain；
- mathematical meaning；
- identity；
- aesthetic value；

$$
\boxed{
\mathcal E_i
=
\mathcal E_j
}
$$

$$
\boxed{
\mathcal E_i
\cap
\mathcal E_j
=
\varnothing
}
$$

- biological structure；
- language；
- culture；
- environment；
- social learning。

$$
\boxed{
\text{local commensurability}
}
$$

取代：

$$
\boxed{
\text{global identity}.
}
$$

$$
U\subset\mathcal E
$$

$$
i_t
$$

與：

$$
i_{t+10}
$$

$$
\mathfrak S_{i_t}
\neq
\mathfrak S_{i_{t+10}}.
$$

因為：

- memory；
- body；
- goals；
- values；
- knowledge；

$$
\boxed{
\text{intra-person heterogeneity}
}
$$

$$
\boxed{
\tau_{t,t'}
}
$$

- input access；
- memory；
- internal state；
- routing；
- objectives；
- tool access；

$$
\mathfrak S_i^{\mathrm{op}}.
$$

但：

$$
\boxed{
\text{operational subject-domain difference}
}
$$

$$
\boxed{
\text{phenomenal experience difference}.
}
$$

---

# 44. Operational Subject Domain

$$
\boxed{
\mathfrak S_i^{\mathrm{op}}
=
(
A_i,K_i,M_i,\Lambda_i,O_i
)
}
$$

其中：

$$
O_i
$$

為 objective / control structure。

---

# 45. Human Lived Domain

$$
\boxed{
\mathcal E_i^{\mathrm{lived}}.
}
$$

這與：

$$
\mathfrak S_i^{\mathrm{op}}
$$

---

# 46. Same Output, Different Internal State

> 42。

public output：

$$
o_i=o_j.
$$

但 internal state：

$$
z_i\neq z_j
$$

$$
\boxed{
\text{same behavior}
\not\Rightarrow
\text{same internal process}.
}
$$

---

$$
z_i\neq z_j
$$

$$
x_i^{\mathrm{phen}}
\neq
x_j^{\mathrm{phen}}.
$$

---

# 48. 三種 Identity

## World Identity

$$
w_i=w_j.
$$

## Functional / Report Identity

$$
R_i(x_i)=R_j(x_j).
$$

## Experiential Identity

$$
x_i=x_j.
$$

lived state 相同。

一般：

$$
\boxed{
\text{World Identity}
\not\Rightarrow
\text{Experiential Identity}.
}
$$

以及：

$$
\boxed{
\text{Report Identity}
\not\Rightarrow
\text{Experiential Identity}.
}
$$

---

$$
\boxed{
\text{evidence for similarity}
\neq
\text{logical proof of total identity}.
}
$$

---

# 50. Translation Quality

可定義 task-relative translation error：

$$
\epsilon_{ij}^{(q)}
=
D_Z(
q_i(x),
q_j(\tau_{ij}(x))
).
$$

如果：

$$
\epsilon_{ij}^{(q)}
\approx0,
$$

$$
\epsilon^{(\mathrm{arith})}\approx0,
$$

但在：

$$
\epsilon^{(\mathrm{aesthetic})}
$$

---

# 52. Subject Similarity Is Domain-Relative

定義：

$$
\boxed{
i\sim_D j
}
$$

$$
i\sim_{\mathrm{all}}j.
$$

$$
\mathfrak S_i
\neq
\mathfrak S_j,
$$

$$
i>j
$$

或：

$$
j>i.
$$

只是：

$$
\boxed{
\text{state / mapping structure differ}.
}
$$

---

# 54. Shared World as Coordination Surface

$$
\mathcal W
$$

看成：

$$
\boxed{
\text{coordination surface}.
}
$$

---

# 55. Civilization Is Translation Infrastructure

$$
\boxed{
\text{cross-subject translation infrastructure}.
}
$$

$$
\mathfrak S_H^{\mathrm{op}}
\neq
\mathfrak S_A^{\mathrm{op}},
$$

$$
\boxed{
\text{become identical}.
}
$$

$$
\boxed{
\text{build reliable translation / verification interfaces}.
}
$$

---

$$
O_H=O_A.
$$

$$
\boxed{
X_H=X_A.
}
$$

$$
P.
$$

但：

$$
C_i(P)
\neq
C_j(P).
$$

- lifeworld；
- Umwelt；
- phenomenology；
- intersubjectivity；
- embodiment；
- situated cognition；
- predictive processing；
- cultural affordance；
- first-person / third-person distinction。

1. shared world $\mathcal W$ ；
2. Subject Domain $\mathfrak S_i$ ；
3. Experiential Domain $\mathcal E_i$ ；
4. public report map $R_i$ ；
5. local translation $\tau_{ij}$ ；
6. Shared-World Non-Identity；
7. Shared-Report Non-Identity；
8. Heterogeneity-with-Overlap；
9. human lived domain / AI operational domain 的 anti-overclaim separation。

---

$$
\boxed{
}
$$

$$
\boxed{
}
$$

$$
\boxed{
}
$$

$$
\boxed{
}
$$

$$
\boxed{
}
$$

---

$$
\Phi_i\circ A_i
\neq
\Phi_j\circ A_j
$$

$$
\boxed{
\text{same external event}
+
\text{different lived state}.
}
$$

$$
\boxed{
\text{same public report}
}
$$

$$
\boxed{
\text{same lived state}.
}
$$

$$
\boxed{
\text{intersubjective coordination}.
}
$$

---

# **Heterogeneity-with-Overlap Principle**

$$
\boxed{
\text{Shared World}
\not\Rightarrow
\text{Shared Lived World},
}
$$

但：

$$
\boxed{
\text{Different Lived Worlds}
\not\Rightarrow
\text{No Shared Structure}.
}
$$

$$
\boxed{
}
$$

$$
\boxed{
}
$$

$$
\mathcal W
$$

$$
\mathfrak S_i,
\mathfrak S_j
$$

$$
\Phi_i,
\Phi_j.
$$

因此：

$$
\boxed{
w
\rightarrow
x_i
}
$$

與：

$$
\boxed{
w
\rightarrow
x_j
}
$$

- measurement；
- mathematics；
- law；
- convention；
- shared practices；

作為：

$$
\boxed{
\text{translation infrastructure}.
}
$$

$$
\mathcal E_i=\mathcal E_j
$$

$$
\boxed{
\exists U_i,U_j,\tau_{ij}
}
$$
