Artificial
Human → Design → Training → Deployment → A I . \text{Human}
\rightarrow
\text{Design}
\rightarrow
\text{Training}
\rightarrow
\text{Deployment}
\rightarrow
AI. Human → Design → Training → Deployment → A I .
Origin , Construction , Intervention , Responsibility , Revisability . \text{Origin},
\text{Construction},
\text{Intervention},
\text{Responsibility},
\text{Revisability}. Origin , Construction , Intervention , Responsibility , Revisability .
Where did this intelligence come from? \text{Where did this intelligence come from?} Where did this intelligence come from?
How elevated is this intelligence? \text{How elevated is this intelligence?} How elevated is this intelligence?
Provenance-to-Status Shift \boxed{
\textbf{Provenance-to-Status Shift}
} Provenance-to-Status Shift
Provenance Salience ↑ ⇒ Creator / Institution Traceability ↑ \boxed{
\text{Provenance Salience}\uparrow
\Rightarrow
\text{Creator / Institution Traceability}\uparrow
} Provenance Salience ↑⇒ Creator / Institution Traceability ↑
Status Framing ↑ + Provenance Salience ↓ ⇒ Responsibility Displacement Risk ↑ ? \boxed{
\text{Status Framing}\uparrow
+
\text{Provenance Salience}\downarrow
\Rightarrow
\text{Responsibility Displacement Risk}\uparrow?
} Status Framing ↑ + Provenance Salience ↓⇒ Responsibility Displacement Risk ↑ ?
Artificial ∧ Superintelligent . \text{Artificial}
\land
\text{Superintelligent}. Artificial ∧ Superintelligent .
1. Artificial
fake;
imitation;
synthetic;
unnatural;
lesser copy。
connotation \text{connotation} connotation
classification function . \text{classification function}. classification function .
Artificial
A r t i f i c i a l = F a k e . Artificial = Fake. A r t i f i c ia l = F ak e .
而是:
A r t i f i c i a l = E n g i n e e r e d P r o v e n a n c e . Artificial = Engineered\ Provenance. A r t i f i c ia l = E n g in eer e d P r o v e nan ce .
Artificial → Provenance . \boxed{
\text{Artificial}
\rightarrow
\text{Provenance}.
} Artificial → Provenance .
Provenance Anchor \boxed{
\textbf{Provenance Anchor}
} Provenance Anchor
Artificial Satellite \text{Artificial Satellite} Artificial Satellite
Artificial Heart \text{Artificial Heart} Artificial Heart
Artificial Intelligence \text{Artificial Intelligence} Artificial Intelligence
I n t e l l i g e n c e A I < I n t e l l i g e n c e H u m a n . Intelligence_{AI}<Intelligence_{Human}. I n t e l l i g e n c e A I < I n t e l l i g e n c e H u man .
Artificial
∃ H : H → x \exists H:
H
\rightarrow
x ∃ H : H → x
P r o v ( x ) = ( D , T , R , Dep , M ) , Prov(x)
=
(
D,
T,
R,
\text{Dep},
M
), P r o v ( x ) = ( D , T , R , Dep , M ) ,
其中:
D = design history , D=\text{design history}, D = design history ,
T = training history , T=\text{training history}, T = training history ,
R = resource / data history , R=\text{resource / data history}, R = resource / data history ,
D e p = deployment history , Dep=\text{deployment history}, D e p = deployment history ,
M = maintenance / modification history . M=\text{maintenance / modification history}. M = maintenance / modification history .
x has a production history. \boxed{
x
\text{ has a production history.}
} x has a production history.
3. Artificial
3.1 Origin Chain
Artifact → Origin . \boxed{
\text{Artifact}
\rightarrow
\text{Origin}.
} Artifact → Origin .
3.2 Construction Chain
System → Architecture → Training → Configuration . \boxed{
\text{System}
\rightarrow
\text{Architecture}
\rightarrow
\text{Training}
\rightarrow
\text{Configuration}.
} System → Architecture → Training → Configuration .
3.3 Intervention Chain
S y s t e m t → i n t e r v e n t i o n S y s t e m t + 1 . System_t
\xrightarrow{intervention}
System_{t+1}. S y s t e m t in t er v e n t i o n S y s t e m t + 1 .
例如:
更新模型;
修改 system prompt;
限制工具權限;
改變資料來源;
加入驗證層;
停止部署;
The system is, at least partly, intervenable. \boxed{
\text{The system is, at least partly, intervenable.}
} The system is, at least partly, intervenable.
3.4 Responsibility Chain
Outcome → System → D e p l o y e r s / D e v e l o p e r s / I n s t i t u t i o n s . \text{Outcome}
\rightarrow
\text{System}
\rightarrow
Deployers / Developers / Institutions. Outcome → System → D e pl oy er s / D e v e l o p er s / I n s t i t u t i o n s .
3.5 Revisability Chain
How can x be changed? \text{How can }x\text{ be changed?} How can x be changed?
What has x declared? \text{What has }x\text{ declared?} What has x declared?
C a p a b i l i t y ↑ Capability\uparrow C a p abi l i t y ↑
R e v i s a b i l i t y ↓ Revisability\downarrow R e v i s abi l i t y ↓
Artificial → Super \text{Artificial}
\rightarrow
\text{Super} Artificial → Super
weak adjective → strong adjective . \text{weak adjective}
\rightarrow
\text{strong adjective}. weak adjective → strong adjective .
而是:
provenance adjective → status adjective . \text{provenance adjective}
\rightarrow
\text{status adjective}. provenance adjective → status adjective .
Provenance Framing → Status Framing . \boxed{
\text{Provenance Framing}
\rightarrow
\text{Status Framing}.
} Provenance Framing → Status Framing .
Information Axis Replacement . \text{Information Axis Replacement}. Information Axis Replacement .
L A I = ( P , ∅ ) , L_{AI}
=
(P,\varnothing), L A I = ( P , ∅ ) ,
其中 P P P 表示 provenance information。
而:
L S I = ( ∅ , R ) , L_{SI}
=
(\varnothing,R), L S I = ( ∅ , R ) ,
其中 R R R 表示 rank information。
則:
L A I → L S I L_{AI}\rightarrow L_{SI} L A I → L S I
不是:
I n f o r m a t i o n ↑ , Information\uparrow, I n f or ma t i o n ↑ ,
而是:
P ↓ , R ↑ . P\downarrow,
\qquad
R\uparrow. P ↓ , R ↑ .
CapabilityGrowth → StatusReframing . \text{CapabilityGrowth}
\rightarrow
\text{StatusReframing}. CapabilityGrowth → StatusReframing .
C ( x ) ≫ C ( H u m a n ) , C(x)\gg C(Human), C ( x ) ≫ C ( H u man ) ,
只要:
P r o v ( x ) = A r t i f i c i a l , Prov(x)=Artificial, P r o v ( x ) = A r t i f i c ia l ,
Artificial Superintelligence . \boxed{
\text{Artificial Superintelligence}.
} Artificial Superintelligence .
P r o v e n a n c e = A r t i f i c i a l Provenance=Artificial P r o v e nan ce = A r t i f i c ia l
與:
C a p a b i l i t y = S u p e r i n t e l l i g e n t . Capability=Superintelligent. C a p abi l i t y = S u p er in t e l l i g e n t .
A r t i f i c i a l → S u p e r Artificial\rightarrow Super A r t i f i c ia l → S u p er
能自主規劃;
能長時程執行任務;
能操作軟體;
能調用金融工具;
能使用機器人;
能自行生成程式;
W h o g r a n t e d a c c e s s ? Who\ granted\ access? W h o g r an t e d a ccess ?
W h o c h o s e d e p l o y m e n t ? Who\ chose\ deployment? W h o c h ose d e pl oy m e n t ?
W h o s e t p e r m i s s i o n s ? Who\ set\ permissions? W h o se t p er mi ss i o n s ?
W h o a c c e p t e d t h e r i s k ? Who\ accepted\ the\ risk? W h o a cce pt e d t h e r i s k ?
W h o b e n e f i t s ? Who\ benefits? W h o b e n e f i t s ?
W h o c a n i n t e r v e n e ? Who\ can\ intervene? W h o c an in t er v e n e ?
C a p a b i l i t y ↑ ⇏ P r o v e n a n c e R e l e v a n c e ↓ . \boxed{
Capability\uparrow
\not\Rightarrow
ProvenanceRelevance\downarrow.
} C a p abi l i t y ↑ ⇒ P r o v e nan ce R e l e v an ce ↓ .
C a p a b i l i t y ↑ ⇒ G o v e r n a n c e T r a c e a b i l i t y ↑ . Capability\uparrow
\Rightarrow
GovernanceTraceability\uparrow. C a p abi l i t y ↑⇒ G o v er nan ce T r a ce abi l i t y ↑ .
N = 309. N=309. N = 309.
N = 430. N=430. N = 430.
r = − 0.68. r=-0.68. r = − 0.68.
A r t i f i c i a l → S u p e r Artificial\rightarrow Super A r t i f i c ia l → S u p er
How AI is framed can affect how responsibility is distributed. \boxed{
\text{How AI is framed}
\text{ can affect how responsibility is distributed.}
} How AI is framed can affect how responsibility is distributed.
降低人造來源的顯著性;
提高自主、高位階、獨立行動者的語感;
同時進入政府、產業與公共語言;
R e s p o n s i b i l i t y A I Responsibility_{AI} R es p o n s ibi l i t y A I
與:
R e s p o n s i b i l i t y H u m a n I n s t i t u t i o n s Responsibility_{HumanInstitutions} R es p o n s ibi l i t y H u man I n s t i t u t i o n s
Artificial Provenance Anchor Hypothesis — APAH \boxed{
\textbf{Artificial Provenance Anchor Hypothesis — APAH}
} Artificial Provenance Anchor Hypothesis — APAH
P s = provenance salience . P_s
=
\text{provenance salience}. P s = provenance salience .
T c = creator traceability . T_c
=
\text{creator traceability}. T c = creator traceability .
T i = institutional traceability . T_i
=
\text{institutional traceability}. T i = institutional traceability .
R m = perceived revisability . R_m
=
\text{perceived revisability}. R m = perceived revisability .
∂ T c ∂ P s > 0 , \frac{\partial T_c}{\partial P_s}>0, ∂ P s ∂ T c > 0 ,
∂ T i ∂ P s > 0 , \frac{\partial T_i}{\partial P_s}>0, ∂ P s ∂ T i > 0 ,
以及:
∂ R m ∂ P s > 0. \frac{\partial R_m}{\partial P_s}>0. ∂ P s ∂ R m > 0.
P r o v e n a n c e S a l i e n c e ↑ ⇒ T r a c e a b i l i t y ↑ . \boxed{
ProvenanceSalience\uparrow
\Rightarrow
Traceability\uparrow.
} P r o v e nan ce S a l i e n ce ↑⇒ T r a ce abi l i t y ↑ .
S f = status framing , S_f
=
\text{status framing}, S f = status framing ,
A f = agentic framing , A_f
=
\text{agentic framing}, A f = agentic framing ,
D r = responsibility displacement . D_r
=
\text{responsibility displacement}. D r = responsibility displacement .
D r = f ( S f , A f , − P s ) . D_r
=
f(
S_f,
A_f,
-P_s
). D r = f ( S f , A f , − P s ) .
S t a t u s F r a m i n g ↑ , StatusFraming\uparrow, S t a t u s F r amin g ↑ ,
A g e n t i c F r a m i n g ↑ , AgenticFraming\uparrow, A g e n t i c F r amin g ↑ ,
P r o v e n a n c e S a l i e n c e ↓ ProvenanceSalience\downarrow P r o v e nan ce S a l i e n ce ↓
ResponsibilityDisplacement . \text{ResponsibilityDisplacement}. ResponsibilityDisplacement .
因此:
S f ↑ + A f ↑ + P s ↓ ⇒ D r ↑ ? \boxed{
S_f\uparrow
+
A_f\uparrow
+
P_s\downarrow
\Rightarrow
D_r\uparrow?
} S f ↑ + A f ↑ + P s ↓⇒ D r ↑ ?
A I → S I → AutonomousEntity → IndependentActor . AI
\rightarrow
SI
\rightarrow
\text{AutonomousEntity}
\rightarrow
\text{IndependentActor}. A I → S I → AutonomousEntity → IndependentActor .
We built and deployed this system \text{We built and deployed this system} We built and deployed this system
The SI decided . \text{The SI decided}. The SI decided .
Who created the action space? \text{Who created the action space?} Who created the action space?
以及:
Who authorized the action space? \text{Who authorized the action space?} Who authorized the action space?
所以:
AI decision \text{AI decision} AI decision
與:
Human institutional responsibility \text{Human institutional responsibility} Human institutional responsibility
Responsibility = R m o d e l + R d e v e l o p e r + R d e p l o y e r + R o p e r a t o r + R i n s t i t u t i o n + R p o l i c y , \text{Responsibility}
=
R_{model}
+
R_{developer}
+
R_{deployer}
+
R_{operator}
+
R_{institution}
+
R_{policy}, Responsibility = R m o d e l + R d e v e l o p er + R d e pl oy er + R o p er a t or + R in s t i t u t i o n + R p o l i cy ,
R m o d e l ↑ ⇒ R o t h e r s → 0 R_{model}\uparrow
\Rightarrow
R_{others}\rightarrow0 R m o d e l ↑⇒ R o t h er s → 0
「Super」
Super → BeyondUs → BeyondIntervention . \text{Super}
\rightarrow
\text{BeyondUs}
\rightarrow
\text{BeyondIntervention}. Super → BeyondUs → BeyondIntervention .
有版本;
有 checkpoint;
有架構;
有權重;
有工具接口;
有部署環境;
有硬體依賴;
有資料依賴;
有服務權限;
SuperCapability ⇏ NonRevisability . \text{SuperCapability}
\not\Rightarrow
\text{NonRevisability}. SuperCapability ⇒ NonRevisability .
Autonomy ⇏ Untraceability . \text{Autonomy}
\not\Rightarrow
\text{Untraceability}. Autonomy ⇒ Untraceability .
ProvenanceGraph . \text{ProvenanceGraph}. ProvenanceGraph .
例如:
G P = ( V , E ) , G_P
=
(V,E), G P = ( V , E ) ,
model version;
training corpus;
post-training procedure;
tool permission;
operator;
deployer;
hardware;
policy layer;
environment state;
decision trace。
12. 從 artifact frame 到 entity frame
Artificial
Artifact Frame \boxed{
\text{Artifact Frame}
} Artifact Frame
Entity / Rank Frame \boxed{
\text{Entity / Rank Frame}
} Entity / Rank Frame
Artifact Frame
Entity / Rank Frame
EntityFrame should be added, not substituted for ArtifactFrame. \boxed{
\text{EntityFrame}
\text{ should be added, not substituted for ArtifactFrame.}
} EntityFrame should be added, not substituted for ArtifactFrame.
Artifact + Agent \text{Artifact}
+
\text{Agent} Artifact + Agent
Artifact → Agent → Artifact forgotten . \text{Artifact}
\rightarrow
\text{Agent}
\rightarrow
\text{Artifact forgotten}. Artifact → Agent → Artifact forgotten .
13.1 Provenance
P ( x ) P(x) P ( x )
13.2 Capability
C ( x ) C(x) C ( x )
13.3 Agency / Autonomy
A ( x ) A(x) A ( x )
13.4 Responsibility Topology
R ( x ) R(x) R ( x )
x = ( P , C , A , R ) . x=
(P,C,A,R). x = ( P , C , A , R ) .
P = A r t i f i c i a l , P=Artificial, P = A r t i f i c ia l ,
C = S u p e r i n t e l l i g e n t , C=Superintelligent, C = S u p er in t e l l i g e n t ,
A = H i g h , A=High, A = H i g h ,
R = D i s t r i b u t e d . R=Distributed. R = D i s t r ib u t e d .
It is SI.
Synthetic Intelligence;
Machine Intelligence;
Engineered Intelligence;
Computational Intelligence;
Hybrid Intelligence;
Emergent Artificial Systems。
the provenance dimension . \boxed{
\text{the provenance dimension}.
} the provenance dimension .
A I → X , AI\rightarrow X, A I → X ,
I n f o r m a t i o n ( P ∣ X ) Information(P|X) I n f or ma t i o n ( P ∣ X )
Rename the word if necessary; do not delete the dimension. \boxed{
\text{Rename the word if necessary;
do not delete the dimension.}
} Rename the word if necessary; do not delete the dimension.
Artificial ⇏ mere tool . \text{Artificial}
\not\Rightarrow
\text{mere tool}. Artificial ⇒ mere tool .
主體性;
道德地位;
權利;
自主性;
社會身份;
Artificial ⇒ Inferior . \text{Artificial}
\Rightarrow
\text{Inferior}. Artificial ⇒ Inferior .
Super ⇒ Superior Being . \text{Super}
\Rightarrow
\text{Superior Being}. Super ⇒ Superior Being .
Provenance ⊥ Capability ⊥ MoralStatus ⊥ PoliticalLegitimacy . \boxed{
\text{Provenance}
\perp
\text{Capability}
\perp
\text{MoralStatus}
\perp
\text{PoliticalLegitimacy}.
} Provenance ⊥ Capability ⊥ MoralStatus ⊥ PoliticalLegitimacy .
Artificial → Engineered Provenance . \boxed{
\text{Artificial}
\rightarrow
\text{Engineered Provenance}.
} Artificial → Engineered Provenance .
Artificial ⇏ Inferior . \boxed{
\text{Artificial}
\not\Rightarrow
\text{Inferior}.
} Artificial ⇒ Inferior .
Super → R e l a t i v e C a p a b i l i t y / S t a t u s . \boxed{
\text{Super}
\rightarrow
Relative\ Capability / Status.
} Super → R e l a t i v e C a p abi l i t y / S t a t u s .
ProvenanceFrame → StatusFrame . \boxed{
\text{ProvenanceFrame}
\rightarrow
\text{StatusFrame}.
} ProvenanceFrame → StatusFrame .
C a p a b i l i t y ↑ ⇏ T r a c e a b i l i t y ↓ . \boxed{
Capability\uparrow
\not\Rightarrow
Traceability\downarrow.
} C a p abi l i t y ↑ ⇒ T r a ce abi l i t y ↓ .
C a p a b i l i t y ↑ ⇒ T r a c e a b i l i t y R e q u i r e m e n t ↑ . \boxed{
Capability\uparrow
\Rightarrow
TraceabilityRequirement\uparrow.
} C a p abi l i t y ↑⇒ T r a ce abi l i t y R e q u i r e m e n t ↑ .
R e s p o n s i b i l i t y A I > 0 ⇏ R e s p o n s i b i l i t y H u m a n = 0. \boxed{
Responsibility_{AI}>0
\not\Rightarrow
Responsibility_{Human}=0.
} R es p o n s ibi l i t y A I > 0 ⇒ R es p o n s ibi l i t y H u man = 0.
R e n a m e ( L a n g u a g e ) ≠ E r a s e ( P r o v e n a n c e ) . \boxed{
Rename(Language)
\neq
Erase(Provenance).
} R e nam e ( L an g u a g e ) = E r a se ( P r o v e nan ce ) .
C ( A I ) ≫ C ( H u m a n ) . C(AI)\gg C(Human). C ( A I ) ≫ C ( H u man ) .
P r o v ( A I ) = A r t i f i c i a l Prov(AI)=Artificial P r o v ( A I ) = A r t i f i c ia l
Artificial ∧ Superintelligent \boxed{
\text{Artificial}
\land
\text{Superintelligent}
} Artificial ∧ Superintelligent
A r t i f i c i a l → S u p e r Artificial\rightarrow Super A r t i f i c ia l → S u p er
Human → Design → Train → Deploy → Govern → A I . \text{Human}
\rightarrow
\text{Design}
\rightarrow
\text{Train}
\rightarrow
\text{Deploy}
\rightarrow
\text{Govern}
\rightarrow
AI. Human → Design → Train → Deploy → Govern → A I .
the memory that intelligence also has a history of construction. \boxed{
\text{the memory that intelligence also has a history of construction.}
} the memory that intelligence also has a history of construction.
