Choice, Commitment, and Irreversibility: Meaning as a Structure of Responsibility

W1,W2,,WnW_1,W_2,\ldots,W_n

Which world will actually be made real?\boxed{ \text{Which world will actually be made real?} }

Generate(Wi)\operatorname{Generate}(W_i)

Choose(Wi)\operatorname{Choose}(W_i)

Enact(Wi)\operatorname{Enact}(W_i)

AnswerFor(Wi)\operatorname{AnswerFor}(W_i)

GenerateChooseEnactAnswer For.\boxed{ \text{Generate} \neq \text{Choose} \neq \text{Enact} \neq \text{Answer For}. }

Generation–Commitment Separation Principle.\boxed{ \textbf{Generation–Commitment Separation Principle}. }

K=(G,S,A,X,ΔW,I,R,Q,P),\boxed{ K = ( G, S, A, X, \Delta W, I, R, Q, P ), }

其中:

  • GG:goal / value basis;
  • SS:selecting subject or institution;
  • AA:authority to decide;
  • XX:execution channel;
  • ΔW\Delta W:world-state change;
  • II:irreversibility / reversibility profile;
  • RR:responsibility allocation;
  • QQ:contestability / review channel;
  • PP:provenance / audit record。

World-State Commitment

Wta,KWt+1.\boxed{ W_t \xrightarrow{a,K} W_{t+1}. }

Irreversibility Profile

I(a)=(IT,IC,IH,IL,IS),\boxed{ \mathbf I(a) = ( I_T, I_C, I_H, I_L, I_S ), }

其中:

  • ITI_T:temporal irreversibility;
  • ICI_C:causal spillover;
  • IHI_H:human harm potential;
  • ILI_L:legal / institutional lock-in;
  • ISI_S:social / identity path dependence。

I(a)[0,1].I(a)\in[0,1].

Irreversibility–Oversight Proportionality Principle\boxed{ \textbf{Irreversibility–Oversight Proportionality Principle} }

Zhu 等人提出 layered agency,把 AI 的 operative agency 與人的 evaluative agency 分開;Kang 的 graduated oversight framework 直接把 reversibility 作為 human-in/on/over-the-loop 分級的風險維度;Parallax 類 agent architecture 主張 irreversible external actions 應提高事前核准門檻;其他 agent-governance work 則將 consequential action 的 evidence、attestation、audit trail 與 accountability 置於 action boundary。

Delegation Responsibility Paradox

People may delegate to AI to feel less responsible, while observers may assign humans more responsibility precisely because they delegated to AI.\boxed{ \text{People may delegate to AI to feel less responsible, while observers may assign humans more responsibility precisely because they delegated to AI.} }

Delegation Non-Erasure Principle.\boxed{ \textbf{Delegation Non-Erasure Principle}. }

若主體 hh

AI agent aa
  2. 設定或接受其 goal;
  3. 給予其 authority;
  4. 能合理預見 action class;
  5. 從其行動獲益或代表其利益行動;

則:

Delegate(h,a)\operatorname{Delegate}(h,a)

Rh=0.R_h=0.

AI actednobody is answerable.\boxed{ \text{AI acted} \Rightarrow \text{nobody is answerable}. }

Responsibility Laundering.\boxed{ \textbf{Responsibility Laundering}. }

Responsibility Graph

GR=(VR,ER,wR),\boxed{ \mathcal G_R = ( V_R,E_R,w_R ), }

  • goal setter;
  • model / agent;
  • deployer;
  • operator;
  • provider;
  • reviewer;
  • affected party;
  • institution。

  • authorizes;
  • delegates;
  • executes;
  • verifies;
  • benefits;
  • can-overrule;
  • can-repair;
  • bears-cost。

authority+knowledge+control+benefit+repair capacity+causal role.\boxed{ \text{authority} + \text{knowledge} + \text{control} + \text{benefit} + \text{repair capacity} + \text{causal role}. }

Authority–Responsibility Alignment

ARA=1d(Aauthority,Rresponsibility).\boxed{ \operatorname{ARA} = 1- d( \mathbf A_{\mathrm{authority}}, \mathbf R_{\mathrm{responsibility}} ). }

ARA.\operatorname{ARA}\downarrow.

Part of meaning can arise not from being the only agent capable of an outcome, but from being a subject who chooses, commits, remains answerable, and lives through the consequences of a chosen path.\boxed{ \textbf{Part of meaning can arise not from being the only agent capable of an outcome, but from being a subject who chooses, commits, remains answerable, and lives through the consequences of a chosen path.} }

I can produce X\text{I can produce X}

I stand behind making X real.\boxed{ \text{I stand behind making X real}. }

  • PGMV-04:功能替代不等於主體替代;
  • PGMV-05:內容等價不等於關係等價;

關鍵詞: commitment、choice、irreversibility、responsibility、agentic AI、delegation、meaningful human control、human oversight、responsibility laundering、agency、answerability、contestability、AI governance、post-generative civilization

W={W1,W2,,Wn}.\mathcal W = \{W_1,W_2,\ldots,W_n\}.

每個:

WiW_i

2. Candidate abundance

若:

nvery large,n\rightarrow\text{very large},

WtWt+1.W_t \rightarrow W_{t+1}.

4. 因此

Possibility abundanceactuality multiplicity.\boxed{ \text{Possibility abundance} \neq \text{actuality multiplicity}. }

Wj.W_j.

6. Choice creates exclusion

定義:

E(a)={Wj:Wj becomes unavailable after a}.\mathcal E(a) = \{ W_j: W_j\text{ becomes unavailable after }a \}.

9. Generation–Choice Separation

Generate(Wi)⇏Choose(Wi).\boxed{ \operatorname{Generate}(W_i) \not\Rightarrow \operatorname{Choose}(W_i). }

10. Choice–Enactment Separation

Choose(Wi)⇏Enact(Wi).\boxed{ \operatorname{Choose}(W_i) \not\Rightarrow \operatorname{Enact}(W_i). }

11. Enactment–Answerability Separation

12. 所以:

Enact(Wi)⇏Answerability is well assigned.\boxed{ \operatorname{Enact}(W_i) \not\Rightarrow \operatorname{Answerability}\text{ is well assigned}. }

13. 四層

GCER.\boxed{ G \rightarrow C \rightarrow E \rightarrow R. }

Generate、Choose、Enact、Responsibility。

representation.\text{representation}.

Agent 執行:

world-affecting action.\text{world-affecting action}.

19. World-Affecting Action

定義:

aa

WtaWt+1.W_t \xrightarrow{a} W_{t+1}.

20. 例子

  • 發信;
  • 交易;
  • 部署;
  • 修改權限;
  • 刪除資料;

22. Sandbox–World Separation

Simulate(a)Execute(a).\boxed{ \operatorname{Simulate}(a) \neq \operatorname{Execute}(a). }

24. Simulation abundance 是好事

simulationworld action.\text{simulation} \rightarrow \text{world action}.

26. Action Boundary

定義:

W\partial W

W\partial W

  • scope;
  • authority;
  • reversibility;
  • affected parties。

28. Commitment Event

K=(G,S,A,X,ΔW,I,R,Q,P).\boxed{ K = ( G,S,A,X,\Delta W,I,R,Q,P ). }

29. Goal GG

30. Selecting subject SS

31. Authority AA

32. Execution XX

33. World change ΔW\Delta W

34. Irreversibility II

35. Responsibility RR

36. Contestability QQ

37. Provenance PP

39. 但 governance opacity 上升。

40. Irreversibility Profile

I(a)=(IT,IC,IH,IL,IS).\boxed{ \mathbf I(a) = ( I_T,I_C,I_H,I_L,I_S ). }

41. ITI_T:Temporal

42. ICI_C:Causal spillover

有多少 downstream effects。

43. IHI_H:Human harm

44. ILI_L:Legal / Institutional

45. ISI_S:Social / Identity

46. Aggregate irreversibility

I(a)=kωkIk(a),I^\star(a) = \sum_k \omega_k I_k(a),

48. Reversibility Gradient

0I(a)1.0 \le I^\star(a) \le 1.

I0.I^\star\approx0.

IT>0.I_T>0.

51. 例:公開 defamatory message

就算 delete:

IS,IHI_S,I_H

可高。

IHI_H

極高。

54. Irreversibility–Oversight Proportionality

I(a)Orequired(a)\boxed{ I^\star(a)\uparrow \Rightarrow O_{\mathrm{required}}(a)\uparrow }

56. Oversight 不只 human click

2026 meaningful oversight framework

human rubber stamp

不是 meaningful oversight。

57. 所以:

human presenthuman control.\text{human present} \neq \text{human control}.

58. Evaluative Agency

  • understand external criteria;
  • review evidence;
  • contest;
  • override / substitute。

59. AI Operative Agency

  • planning;
  • execution;
  • adaptation。

60. Layered Agency

AAIoperative+Ahumanevaluative\boxed{ A_{\mathrm{AI}}^{\mathrm{operative}} + A_{\mathrm{human}}^{\mathrm{evaluative}} }

63. Human Oversight Nominalism

Approve

但:

  • 不懂;
  • 不能拒絕;
  • 沒時間;
  • 沒替代方案;

那是 nominal oversight。

64. Oversight Competence

定義:

OC=f(understanding,time,authority,alternatives).O_C = f( \text{understanding}, \text{time}, \text{authority}, \text{alternatives} ).

65. 如果:

OC0,O_C\approx0,

66. Authority–Responsibility Alignment

ARA=1d(Aauthority,Rresponsibility).\boxed{ \operatorname{ARA} = 1- d( \mathbf A_{\mathrm{authority}}, \mathbf R_{\mathrm{responsibility}} ). }

70. Meaningful Human Control

Rhf(Ch,Ah,Kh)\boxed{ R_h \le f( C_h, A_h, K_h ) }

其中:

  • ChC_h:control capacity;
  • AhA_h:authority;
  • KhK_h:knowledge / awareness。

73. Delegation

定義:

hδah \xrightarrow{\delta} a

表示 human / institution hh 將 task authority δ\delta 給 agent aa

74. Delegation

  • task;
  • scope;
  • budget;
  • permissions;
  • constraints;
  • duration。

75. 好 delegation 必須 bounded

76. Delegation Envelope

D=(T,B,P,C,τ,E),\boxed{ D = ( T, B, P, C, \tau, E ), }

其中:

  • task;
  • budget;
  • permissions;
  • constraints;
  • time;
  • escalation rule。

77. 超出 envelope

agent 應:

ask / stop / escalate.\text{ask / stop / escalate}.

78. 2026 prompt-injection work 的實例

79. In-scope success 不等於 out-of-scope authority。

80. Scope–Authority Principle

Competent at a⇏Authorized for a.\boxed{ \text{Competent at }a \not\Rightarrow \text{Authorized for }a. }

83. Delegation Non-Erasure Principle

Delegate(h,a)⇏Rh=0.\boxed{ \operatorname{Delegate}(h,a) \not\Rightarrow R_h=0. }

Rh=1R_h=1

  • designer;
  • provider;
  • deployer;
  • operator;
  • institution;
  • agent;
  • reviewer。

89. Responsibility Graph

GR=(VR,ER,wR).\boxed{ \mathcal G_R = ( V_R,E_R,w_R ). }

90. Edge types

{authorizes,delegates,executes,verifies,benefits,overrules,repairs,pays}.\{ \text{authorizes}, \text{delegates}, \text{executes}, \text{verifies}, \text{benefits}, \text{overrules}, \text{repairs}, \text{pays} \}.

92. Causal responsibility

RC.R_C.

93. Decision responsibility

RD.R_D.

94. Role responsibility

Rrole.R_{\mathrm{role}}.

95. Liability

RL.R_L.

96. Moral answerability

RM.R_M.

98. Responsibility Vector

R=(RC,RD,Rrole,RL,RM).\boxed{ \mathbf R = ( R_C,R_D,R_{\mathrm{role}},R_L,R_M ). }

99. Responsibility Laundering

  • goal control;
  • benefit;
  • authorization;

R0R\rightarrow0

AI acted,

則為:

Responsibility Laundering.\boxed{ \textbf{Responsibility Laundering}. }

100. Responsibility avoidance

avoid responsibility.\text{avoid responsibility}.

people assign more responsibility to human in human–AI team than human–human team。

104. Delegation Responsibility Paradox

subjective offloadingsocial offloading.\boxed{ \text{subjective offloading} \neq \text{social offloading}. }

107. Why more human responsibility?

human 是 discretionary locus。

agent autonomy perception 很複雜。

111. Responsibility for Delegation

定義:

Rδ=responsibility for choosing the delegate and setting its authority.R_{\delta} = \text{responsibility for choosing the delegate and setting its authority}.

δ\delta

負責。

114. AI delegation 不應成 magical exception。

115. Intelligent Delegation

2026 Intelligent AI Delegation framework 強調:

delegation 包含 authority、responsibility、accountability、role boundaries、intent clarity、trust。

117. Delegation

118. 需要 machine-readable contract。

119. Delegation Contract Schema

principal:
agent:
task:
goal:
allowed_actions:
forbidden_actions:
budget:
time_window:
reversibility_limit:
approval_threshold:
escalation:
audit:
responsibility:

121. Commitment

possible self\text{possible self}

變成:

chosen trajectory.\text{chosen trajectory}.

125. Life Path

Ls=(W0,W1,,WT).L_s = ( W_0,W_1,\ldots,W_T ).

128. Choice as Self-Authorship

131. Commitment Depth

定義:

DK(a)=f(I,τ,stake,identity link,other-party claim).D_K(a) = f( I^\star, \tau, \text{stake}, \text{identity link}, \text{other-party claim} ).

132. 深 commitment

  • 長時間;
  • 高 stake;
  • identity;
  • relational obligation。

133. 例子

  • marriage;
  • parenthood;
  • vocation;
  • civic office;
  • long-term research program。

136. Self-Binding

stKst+1:t+ns_t \xrightarrow{K} s_{t+1:t+n}

137. Commitment paradox

freedom can include the freedom to bind oneself.\boxed{ \text{freedom can include the freedom to bind oneself}. }

Committed Freedom.\boxed{ \textbf{Committed Freedom}. }

  • informed;
  • voluntary;
  • revisable within moral/legal limits;
  • not imposed by domination。

144. Consent–Commitment Principle

burdencommitment\boxed{ \text{burden} \neq \text{commitment} }

146. 所以:

Meaning-as-ResponsibilityMeaning-as-Suffering.\boxed{ \text{Meaning-as-Responsibility} \neq \text{Meaning-as-Suffering}. }

147. Responsibility is answerability

responsibility=capacity and standing to answer for action.\boxed{ \text{responsibility} = \text{capacity and standing to answer for action}. }

148. Answerability 包含

  • acknowledge;
  • explain;
  • repair;
  • accept legitimate claims。

150. Punishment

151. Repair Capacity

Crepair.C_{\mathrm{repair}}.

  • undo;
  • compensate;
  • apologize;
  • restore;

repair\text{repair}

157. Commitment Resilience

KR=f(follow-through,disclosure,repair,renegotiation).K_R = f( \text{follow-through}, \text{disclosure}, \text{repair}, \text{renegotiation} ).

159. AI promise

161. 所以 commitment requires capacity.

162. Promise Capacity Principle

PromiseText(a)⇏PromiseCapacity(a).\boxed{ \operatorname{PromiseText}(a) \not\Rightarrow \operatorname{PromiseCapacity}(a). }

164. Agency and responsibility non-zero-sum

human agency + AI agency

165. AI 可以多做 operative work

166. human 保留 evaluative / normative role。

169. Rubber-Stamp Meaning Fallacy

  • time;
  • knowledge;
  • alternatives;

這是:

Rubber-Stamp Meaning Fallacy.\boxed{ \textbf{Rubber-Stamp Meaning Fallacy}. }

171. 真正 agency 要有 causal and normative efficacy。

172. Evaluative Agency Conditions

至少:

EA=(U,C,O,T),\boxed{ E_A = ( U, C, O, T ), }

其中:

  • UU:understanding;
  • CC:contestability;
  • OO:override;
  • TT:time / cognitive capacity。

173. 若:

EA0,E_A\approx0,

human-in-the-loop 只是 UI。

175. Reversible-by-default

reversible-by-default\boxed{ \text{reversible-by-default} }

176. 例如:

  • draft;
  • staging;
  • preview;
  • delayed commit;
  • undo log。

179. GCS 也喜歡 reversible simulation。

180. Commitment only at boundary

I0.I^\star\approx0.

182. 這是:

Explore Freely, Commit Deliberately.\boxed{ \textbf{Explore Freely, Commit Deliberately}. }

188. Commitment Gate

定義:

GK(a){auto,notify,confirm,multi-sign,forbidden}.G_K(a) \in \{ \text{auto}, \text{notify}, \text{confirm}, \text{multi-sign}, \text{forbidden} \}.

189. Gate 依:

I,H,A,D,VI^\star, H, A, D, V

決定。

190. HH

hazard。

191. AA

authority。

192. DD

affected-party diversity。

193. VV

verifiability。

194. 高風險 action:

GK=multi-sign / explicit confirm.G_K=\text{multi-sign / explicit confirm}.

195. 低風險 action:

GK=auto.G_K=\text{auto}.

196. 這就是 graduated oversight。

197. Reversibility as governance variable

2026 code-governance work 已直接把 reversibility 納入 oversight classification。

199. 因為:

world-affecting commitment\text{world-affecting commitment}

  • reversible;
  • low harm;
  • well-bounded;

可以 agent autonomy。

203. 更像:

human-at-the-commitment-boundary\boxed{ \text{human-at-the-commitment-boundary} }

對高 stake action。

208. AI Rights–Responsibility Symmetry Candidate

authority expansionresponsibility/standing expansion\boxed{ \text{authority expansion} \Rightarrow \text{responsibility/standing expansion} }

210. Collective commitment

S={s1,,sn}.S = \{s_1,\ldots,s_n\}.

212. Collective Choice

CS(W).C_S(W).

legitimacy of collective commitment.\boxed{ \text{legitimacy of collective commitment}. }

216. Optimization–Legitimacy Separation

BestPredicted(W)⇏Legitimate(W).\boxed{ \operatorname{BestPredicted}(W) \not\Rightarrow \operatorname{Legitimate}(W). }

  • who counts;
  • whose values;
  • whose consent;
  • whose risk。

223. Commitment and Meaning

future-directed identity.\text{future-directed identity}.

227. Preference–Commitment Separation

PreferenceCommitment.\boxed{ \text{Preference} \neq \text{Commitment}. }

228. preference

230. Commitment persistence

τK.\tau_K.

233. Rational Revision

KtΔEKt+1.K_t \xrightarrow{\Delta E} K_{t+1}.

  • disclosure;
  • reason;
  • renegotiation;

236. Self-only commitment

237. Other-regarding commitment

claim-right.\text{claim-right}.

240. 這就是 answerability。

241. Meaning from being claimed upon

244. Normative Relation

Nab=(claims,duties,permissions).N_{ab} = ( \text{claims}, \text{duties}, \text{permissions} ).

245. 這是 PGMV-05 relational meaning 的 deeper layer。

246. AI-generated care

250. institution enters relation。

251. Responsibility Topology

UAPI.\boxed{ U \leftrightarrow A \leftrightarrow P \leftrightarrow I. }

User、Agent、Provider、Institution。

252. 每個 edge 有:

  • authority;
  • obligation;
  • repair。

254. AI decision support vs AI decision enactment

Support:

a:recommend Wi.a: \text{recommend }W_i.

255. Enactment:

a:WtWt+1.a: W_t\rightarrow W_{t+1}.

256. governance threshold

W\partial W

259. Recommendation–Execution Separation

RecommendExecute.\boxed{ \operatorname{Recommend} \neq \operatorname{Execute}. }

261. Read / Write Boundary

  • read;
  • suggest;
  • stage;
  • write;
  • commit。

Observe<Recommend<Stage<Execute<Irreversible Commit.\boxed{ \text{Observe} < \text{Recommend} < \text{Stage} < \text{Execute} < \text{Irreversible Commit}. }

263. capability

264. Capability–Authority Separation

Ca⇏Aa automatically.\boxed{ C_a\uparrow \not\Rightarrow A_a\uparrow \text{ automatically}. }

270. Commitment and dignity

AselfauthorshipA_{\mathrm{self-authorship}}

272. Paternalistic Optimization

OptimizeFor(s)\boxed{ \operatorname{OptimizeFor}(s) }

ChooseWith(s).\boxed{ \operatorname{ChooseWith}(s). }

  • emergency;
  • incapacity;
  • child safety;

agency displacement itself must be justified.\boxed{ \text{agency displacement itself must be justified}. }

278. Agency Displacement Ledger

  • why;
  • scope;
  • duration;
  • appeal;
  • restoration plan。

280. Commitment Scarcity

  • option;
  • time;
  • authority;
  • responsibility;
  • future flexibility。

282. Commitment Cost

CK=Copportunity+Cresponsibility+Clockin+Crepair.C_K = C_{\mathrm{opportunity}} + C_{\mathrm{responsibility}} + C_{\mathrm{lockin}} + C_{\mathrm{repair}}.

285. 這是:

Infinite possibility+finite commitment capacity.\boxed{ \text{Infinite possibility} + \text{finite commitment capacity}. }

287. Civilization

SK=commitment capacity.S_K = \text{commitment capacity}.

289. Meaning may attach to scarce commitment

a finite subject cannot live every possible life.\boxed{ \text{a finite subject cannot live every possible life}. }

291. Infinite Copies Objection

commitment is local to a subject-worldline unless continuity rules say otherwise.\boxed{ \text{commitment is local to a subject-worldline unless continuity rules say otherwise}. }

298. Meaning-as-Responsibility Thesis

MR(s)=f(chosen commitments,answerability,participation in consequences).\boxed{ M_R(s) = f( \text{chosen commitments}, \text{answerability}, \text{participation in consequences} ). }

299. 不是 total meaning equation。

302. 所以:

low responsibility capacity⇏low subject worth.\boxed{ \text{low responsibility capacity} \not\Rightarrow \text{low subject worth}. }

306. Capability–Responsibility Asymmetry

307. human

311. Institutional Responsibility

315. Accountability Stack

AC=(Adesign,Adeploy,Aoperate,Areview,Arepair).\boxed{ A_C = ( A_{\mathrm{design}}, A_{\mathrm{deploy}}, A_{\mathrm{operate}}, A_{\mathrm{review}}, A_{\mathrm{repair}} ). }

317. 這可做 case-based analysis。

318. Responsibility Gap

如果:

iRiHcaused,\sum_i R_i \ll H_{\mathrm{caused}},

就出現 responsibility gap。

Responsibility Overload

若:

RhR_h

321. Responsibility Conservation?

iRi=1.\sum_i R_i=1.

325. Responsibility can overlap。

327. Non-Delegable Decisions

DNDD_{\mathrm{ND}}

  • high irreversibility;
  • high rights impact;
  • low verifiability;
  • disputed value trade-off。

  • committee;
  • court;
  • institution;
  • mixed human-AI process。

334. 核心是 legitimacy + answerability。

335. Final Authority

AF.A_F.

338. Intelligence–Authority Non-Entailment

Ia>Ih⇏AF(a)>AF(h).\boxed{ I_a>I_h \not\Rightarrow A_F(a)>A_F(h). }

341. authority

342. Commitment and democracy

344. Standing

St(s,W).S_t(s,W).

346. 這是 capability-independent participation。

347. PGMV-04 已提出 participation meaning。

participation also grounds legitimate commitment。

349. Affected-Party Standing Principle

Affected(s,W)candidate standing in C(W).\boxed{ \operatorname{Affected}(s,W) \Rightarrow \text{candidate standing in }C(W). }

353. Agent-generated policy

355. 但有 distribution conflict 時:

ΔUi\Delta U_i

不同。

356. AI 不能把 value conflict 當 prediction error。

357. Value Conflict Persistence

better prediction⇏value disagreement disappears.\boxed{ \text{better prediction} \not\Rightarrow \text{value disagreement disappears}. }

Generation vs Commitment

  • generation satisfaction;
  • choice difficulty;
  • commitment confidence。

Irreversibility Gate

同一 AI action,

改 reversibility:

  • draft;
  • reversible commit;
  • irreversible external commit。

362. 測 desired oversight level。

Responsibility Offloading

重現 no-win delegation,

增加:

  • AI recommendation;
  • AI executes;
  • AI takes blame label;
  • human retains liability。

364. 測 delegation choice。

Observer Responsibility

比較:

  • human alone;
  • human + human assistant;
  • human + AI agent。

366. 測:

R.\mathbf R.

Rubber Stamp

Authority–Responsibility Misalignment

  • high authority / low liability;
  • low authority / high liability。

370. 測 fairness judgment。

Commitment Meaning

比較:

  • generate goal;
  • publicly state goal;
  • sign commitment;
  • act over time;
  • repair after failure。

372. 測 meaning / identity connection。

AI-Assisted Life Choice

比較:

  • AI gives options;
  • AI recommends;
  • AI defaults;
  • AI auto-enacts。

374. 測 self-authorship。

Irreversibility–Oversight Principle

  1. 不可逆性本身有價值;
  2. 越不可逆越有意義;
  3. suffering 越大 meaning 越大;
  4. 每個選擇都具有存在意義;
  5. 人類必須 micro-manage AI;
  6. human-in-the-loop 永遠是最佳治理;
  7. agentic AI 不應有 autonomy;
  8. AI 永遠不能合法承擔 authority;
  9. AI 今天已是完整 moral/legal subject;
  10. 人永遠對 AI 所做一切負全部責任;
  11. provider 永遠不負責;
  12. user-centric liability 是唯一正確法律模型;
  13. responsibility 是守恆量;
  14. 所有責任加總必須等於 1;
  15. delegation 等於 irresponsibility;
  16. delegation 永遠不減輕責任;
  17. AI delegation 一定出於甩鍋;
  18. human–AI team 一定增加 human responsibility;
  19. meaningful human oversight 等於每步人工批准;
  20. explainability 必須暴露完整 chain-of-thought;
  21. reversible action 不需要任何治理;
  22. irreversible action 一律禁止 AI 執行;
  23. 金融/醫療/法律都應採同一 approval threshold;
  24. capability 決定 authority;
  25. intelligence 決定 political standing;
  26. AI recommendation 不會影響 autonomy;
  27. AI optimization 一定和 legitimacy 衝突;
  28. democracy 必然優於所有其他 commitment institution;
  29. affected party 必須擁有 absolute veto;
  30. commitment 不能修訂;
  31. 改變承諾必然不道德;
  32. relationship repair 永遠成功;
  33. promise text 完全無價值;
  34. human promise 一定具有 follow-through capacity;
  35. AI promise 永遠不可能成為真 promise;
  36. AI agent 不能形成 persistent commitment;
  37. self-binding 越強越自由;
  38. coercion 可以被 commitment 美化;
  39. 責任能力是人格尊嚴的必要條件;
  40. 無法負責的人價值較低;
  41. 兒童、病人、失能者因責任能力較低而意義較低;
  42. post-generative civilization 必然把所有責任留給人類;
  43. 本文已完成 AI liability law;
  44. 本文已解決 AGI/ASI final authority;

Generation–Commitment Separation

Generate(W)⇏Commit(W).\boxed{ \operatorname{Generate}(W) \not\Rightarrow \operatorname{Commit}(W). }

Recommendation–Execution Separation

Recommend(a)⇏Execute(a).\boxed{ \operatorname{Recommend}(a) \not\Rightarrow \operatorname{Execute}(a). }

Delegation Non-Erasure

Delegate(h,a)⇏Rh=0.\boxed{ \operatorname{Delegate}(h,a) \not\Rightarrow R_h=0. }

Capability–Authority Separation

Ca>Cb⇏Aa>Ab.\boxed{ C_a>C_b \not\Rightarrow A_a>A_b. }

Irreversibility–Oversight Proportionality

作為 governance candidate:

I(a)Orequired(a).\boxed{ I^\star(a)\uparrow \Rightarrow O_{\mathrm{required}}(a)\uparrow. }

Human-Presence Non-Sufficiency

human present⇏meaningful human control.\boxed{ \text{human present} \not\Rightarrow \text{meaningful human control}. }

Burden–Commitment Separation

Burden imposed on s⇏Commitment(s).\boxed{ \text{Burden imposed on }s \not\Rightarrow \operatorname{Commitment}(s). }

Promise–Capacity Separation

PromiseText⇏PromiseCapacity.\boxed{ \operatorname{PromiseText} \not\Rightarrow \operatorname{PromiseCapacity}. }

Optimization–Legitimacy Separation

BestPredicted(W)⇏Legitimate(W).\boxed{ \operatorname{BestPredicted}(W) \not\Rightarrow \operatorname{Legitimate}(W). }

Responsibility–Worth Separation

Rcapacity(s)⇏Wsubject(s).\boxed{ R_{\mathrm{capacity}}(s)\downarrow \not\Rightarrow W_{\mathrm{subject}}(s)\downarrow. }

PGMV-04:

functionsubject.\text{function}\neq\text{subject}.

PGMV-06:

executionauthorityresponsibility.\text{execution}\neq\text{authority}\neq\text{responsibility}.

PGMV-05:

promise-like textcommitment relation.\text{promise-like text} \neq \text{commitment relation}.

commitment relation 需要 authority、future consequence、answerability。

Wcandidate.|\mathcal W_{\mathrm{candidate}}|.

W\partial W

WtWi.W_t\rightarrow W_i.

403. 但:

shorter pathauthorized path.\boxed{ \text{shorter path} \neq \text{authorized path}. }

404. GCS 需要加:

commitment certificate.\text{commitment certificate}.

對 consequential tunnel。

collective choice.\text{collective choice}.

PGMV-04:

我不需要不可替代才有意義。\boxed{ \text{我不需要不可替代才有意義。} }

PGMV-05:

關係意義不等於內容唯一性。\boxed{ \text{關係意義不等於內容唯一性。} }

PGMV-06:

意義可以來自我願意選擇、承諾並對現實後果保持 answerable。\boxed{ \text{意義可以來自我願意選擇、承諾並對現實後果保持 answerable。} }

PGMV-07:

  • 替你安排;
  • 替你選;
  • 替你避免所有錯誤;
  • 替你承擔所有麻煩;

agency evacuation?\boxed{ \text{agency evacuation}? }

possibility production.\text{possibility production}.

WtWt+1.W_t \rightarrow W_{t+1}.

generation\boxed{ \text{generation} }

和:

commitment\boxed{ \text{commitment} }

W,\partial W,

authority, execution, oversight, and responsibility become structurally misaligned.\boxed{ \text{authority, execution, oversight, and responsibility become structurally misaligned}. }

delegation does not make responsibility disappear.\boxed{ \text{delegation does not make responsibility disappear}. }

human does everything,\text{human does everything},

AI does everything and nobody is answerable.\text{AI does everything and nobody is answerable}.

bounded AI operative agency+real evaluative agency+proportionate commitment gates+auditable responsibility.\boxed{ \text{bounded AI operative agency} + \text{real evaluative agency} + \text{proportionate commitment gates} + \text{auditable responsibility}. }

meaning as answerable commitment.\boxed{ \textbf{meaning as answerable commitment}. }

選擇不是假的, 承諾不是空字串, 責任不是在出錯時才被丟給別人。\boxed{ \text{選擇不是假的, 承諾不是空字串, 責任不是在出錯時才被丟給別人。} }

In an age of abundant possibilities, meaning can arise from the finite act of standing behind one path without pretending that generation, recommendation, execution, and responsibility are the same thing.\boxed{ \textbf{In an age of abundant possibilities, meaning can arise from the finite act of standing behind one path without pretending that generation, recommendation, execution, and responsibility are the same thing.} }

以及:

The mature post-generative subject is not merely the one who can imagine worlds, but the one who can choose under reasons, commit under legitimate authority, remain answerable, and participate in repairing the world that follows.\boxed{ \textbf{The mature post-generative subject is not merely the one who can imagine worlds, but the one who can choose under reasons, commit under legitimate authority, remain answerable, and participate in repairing the world that follows.} }

AI 可以替我們想出一萬種人生;但真正構成我們生命歷史的,不是一萬個候選,而是我們在可理解的理由下選了哪一條、讓它真的發生,並且是否願意對那條路上的他者與後果保持可回答。\boxed{ \text{AI 可以替我們想出一萬種人生;但真正構成我們生命歷史的,不是一萬個候選,而是我們在可理解的理由下選了哪一條、讓它真的發生,並且是否願意對那條路上的他者與後果保持可回答。} }

生成是可能性的能力;承諾是把可能性寫進世界並願意回答它。\boxed{ \text{生成是可能性的能力;承諾是把可能性寫進世界並願意回答它。} }
