摘要
本文研究一個在「天才」與 AI 面前經常被直覺感受到、但容易被粗糙表述的現象:
兩個存在可以完成相同甚至相近品質的任務,但所需時間、搜尋、訓練、錯誤、注意力、能源、協調與載體成本可能相差極大。
本文不把「天才」視為神祕本體類別,也不把 AI 視為「比較勤勞的人類」。相反,本文建立一個 typed cost framework,要求任何效率比較先聲明比較域。
對 task 與存在 ,定義成本向量:
其中:
- :累積訓練/前置學習成本;
- :當次執行成本;
- :解空間搜尋成本;
- :錯路、失敗、重做;
- :注意/認知負擔;
- :生理或機器能源;
- :人/agent/工具協調;
- :載體、硬體、模型、環境支援;
- :機會成本。
由於這些軸的單位與意義不同,本文不直接聲稱存在 universal scalar cost。只有在明示 Cost Contract:

因此「某人效率比另一人高」本身不是無型別命題;它必須先回答:算不算十年訓練?算不算睡眠與疲勞?算不算模型預訓練?算不算 GPU infrastructure?算不算推理邊際成本?算不算錯誤路徑?
本文首先證明 Visible-Effort Non-Equivalence Proposition:當觀察者只看到當次執行成本:
而忽略歷史前置成本:
則看似「不費吹灰之力」不能推出低 lifecycle cost。

則 marginal execution efficiency 與 lifecycle efficiency 可以相差任意大。這適用於天才、專家與 AI:一個專家現在看五分鐘得到答案,不表示其過去數十年訓練成本為零;一個 AI 幾秒輸出答案,也不表示預訓練、資料、硬體與系統成本為零。
本文第二個核心結果為 Efficiency-Ratio Dependence Theorem。對兩存在 :

本文將「天才」操作性定義為:
Human High-Efficiency Outlier
在 task family 與 declared cost contract 中,若某人 的效率:
長期位於人類 reference distribution 的極端尾部,則稱其為該域中的 high-efficiency human outlier。此定義不宣稱:
- 天才完全由先天決定;
- 天才完全由努力決定;
- 高效率在所有領域穩定;
- 外顯速度足以證明天才。
expertise literature 本身支持多因素邊界。Ericsson、Krampe 與 Tesch-Römer 強調 deliberate practice 對 expert performance 的重要性;Macnamara、Hambrick 與 Oswald 的 meta-analysis 則發現 deliberate practice 只能解釋不同領域中部分 performance variance;Hambrick 等人後續提出 multifactorial expertise model,反對把 born-versus-made 簡化成單一因素。本文因此把「天才」視為觀察到的異質效率結果,而不是事先指定其原因。
本文進一步定義:
Heterogeneous Efficiency Gap
「Efficiency Discontinuity」在本文不是拓撲學上的真正 discontinuity,而是 operational term:若在某 declared comparison domain 中,
超過事先指定的顯著門檻 ,則稱出現 efficiency discontinuity regime。這表示兩存在在該任務上的 outcome / cost exchange rate 已相差到原本群體直覺可能失效的程度。
本文接著區分 Same-Substrate Extreme 與 Cross-Substrate Extreme。
人類天才通常仍受:
- 生理睡眠;
- 手部輸出;
- 注意力;
- 生命時間;
- 生物記憶;
等相似限制,因此可視為:
AI 則可能具有完全不同的 bottleneck topology:
- pretraining compute;
- inference compute;
- parallelism;
- context window;
- memory architecture;
- I/O;
- model replication;
- batch processing;
- external tools。
因此人類與 AI 的比較不只是「同一成本函數上的倍率差」,還可能是:
現有 scaling-law 研究也明確顯示語言模型 performance 與 model size、data、training compute 之間存在系統性關係;compute-optimal training 研究又說明模型表現與 training budget / data allocation 密切相關。2024 年 inference-aware scaling research 進一步指出,只看 pretraining 而忽略 inference cost 會改變 compute-optimal 結論。因此 AI 的「幾秒回答」應被理解為 marginal execution event,而不是整個 AI lifecycle cost 的完整代表。
本文再提出:

只有先聲明使用哪一個,才能說:
AI 比人類快多少?
或:
天才到底是否「毫不費力」?
本文對社會心理後果保持條件化。upward social comparison 研究顯示,遭遇 superior performer 可以產生 self-threat、envy、admiration、learning motivation 等不同結果;高表現者在某些組織研究中甚至更可能因 envy 成為 victimization 對象。但這不是「天才必然被討厭」的定理。本文只提出 Comparison-Frame Stress Hypothesis:
若群體默認:
而某 extreme outlier 表現出:
則群體原本的 effort–achievement exchange model 可能受到衝擊。此衝擊可轉成:
- admiration;
- benign envy;
- malicious envy;
- identity threat;
- imitation;
- domain exit;
- comparison refusal。
AI 使這個古老現象擴大,因為它把原本偶爾出現的 human outlier 變成可能可大量複製、可並行、可快速輸出的 cross-substrate outlier。
因此 HEETF-04 的最終命題不是:
AI 或天才「不公平」。
而是:
若不先聲明 cost contract,就把人類、天才與 AI 放在同一排行榜,容易把:
- visible effort;
- lifecycle cost;
- marginal throughput;
- accumulated expertise;
- substrate advantage;
混成一個「誰比較努力/誰比較強」的單一標籤。

不能只看成功結果而忽略失敗分支。

對人類:
可能非常昂貴。
因為 attention:
- 有限;
- 會疲勞;
- 不能無限平行。
AI 的 attention / context 機制不同,但仍有自己的資源限制。

AI:
- accelerator energy;

- data center infrastructure。
不能只用「秒數」把兩者全部換算掉。

天才早就存在。
AI 只是把:
