# Source Policy

- Canonical source: `paper.md` (UTF-8).
- Canonical math delimiter policy: inline math uses dollar-delimited source; display math uses paired double-dollar-delimited source.
- No Unicode-escape round trip is permitted.
- Rendered chat or preview output is not the canonical manuscript.
- Higher-order sampling labels are research metadata and are not inferred from mathematical words such as `second-order` alone.
- The manuscript is validated before release packaging.
