# SOURCE_POLICY

`paper.md` is the canonical UTF-8 source artifact.

1. Mathematical source uses only `$...$` and `$$...$$`.
2. No Unicode-escape round trip is used.
3. LaTeX commands are preserved as source text.
4. Validation precedes checksum generation and release packaging.
5. Fresh literature search was performed before drafting, including 2025–2026 work on attentional autonomy, cognitive liberty, mental integrity, manipulation, moral autonomy/demandingness, supererogation, parasocial relationships, identity pressure, and AI sociality.
6. UNESCO's 2025 Recommendation on the Ethics of Neurotechnology is used as a current governance interface, not as proof of the paper's full subject-domain theory.
7. Current AI subjecthood is not asserted.
8. Moral reasons, promises, contracts, care duties, emergency duties, professional duties, and causal responsibility are explicitly preserved.
9. Parasocial relationships are not treated as intrinsically pathological.
10. `Subject Domain`, `Symbolic Capture Index`, and `Identity Pressure Gradient` are theoretical constructs, not validated clinical or legal scales.
