# SOURCE_POLICY

`paper.md` is the canonical UTF-8 source artifact.

1. Mathematical source uses only `$...$` and `$$...$$`.
2. No Unicode-escape round trip is used.
3. LaTeX commands are preserved as source text.
4. Validation precedes checksum generation and release packaging.
5. Fresh 2025–2026 literature search was performed on authorship, CRediT, collaborative science, distributed cognition, hybrid human–AI cognition, AI contribution/provenance, and attribution.
6. Current official publication guidance and legal examples are kept separate from philosophical claims.
7. U.S. Copyright Office materials are used only as jurisdiction-specific legal examples, not as universal metaphysical conclusions.
8. Current AI subjecthood is not asserted.
9. Distributed provenance does not erase local credit, responsibility, authorship, priority, or legal rights.
10. Epistemic non-ownership is explicitly separated from legal copyright/public-domain claims.
